OK, maybe sometimes there is, but NOT TODAY!

We are moving our challenges over to a blog format instead of the forum. You can still play along JUST LIKE HERE, only instead of replying to a forum topic, you are replying in a COMMENT on a blog post.

You'll still get your posting prizes, if you follow the directions for the challenges! Only instead of having to come read a pm in the forum, they will come to your email box!

So much easier on everyone!

I know, I know, you are worried about WHY we are moving the challenges to the blog...

Its top secret, but I know you wont tell, since its just you and me here I can let it slip...

well, to be honest - we're going to pretty much shut DSO down either in late Jan or early Feb to do a MAJOR site over haul, {we're going to upgrade some stuff, and totally CHANGE some software!!} and we wanted to atleast be able to still have the challenges going while everything is being rebuilt. This way, you hard core challenge ladies wont have ANY downtime! And you'll already know where to go when the site goes dark and and and... Again, I have to say

Anyway -
BOOKMARK THIS BLOG http://www.digital-scrapbooking.org/challenges it isn't linked up ANYWHERE on the site so if you don't bookmark it, you're going to be lost! And we dont want to LOSE YOU!

Its easy to post!
You put your EMAIL ADDRESS up at the top part, NOT in the actual comment box. Then the only person that gets it (your email addy), is whoever posted the challenge post.

Question-
What will this mean for our galleries?
And if they have to go, do we get in the new format a possibillity to upload the old ones again?
(preferably with more than 5 each 24 hours)

girl, I am googling my butt off to try to find a way to keep all the gallery data. That is part of why we are putting the actual upgrade off till after the first of the year. But, if I CANT. Everyone will know before hand, and yes you'll be able to reup them. Im REALLY going to try to save everything in the gallery though. I just havent found a way YET.

Boy howdy, Bunny...I sure hope you find a way to save the gallery. I've spent all year getting mine built back from the last crash

question Bunny - is there anyway you can get the posting bonuses besides leaving an email in the comments? I do not have a blog and do not want to post an email address for anyone to pick up.

When you leave a comment on the new challenge blog, there's a box for you to enter your email addy. No one sees it except the person who posted the challenge. So, it's safe and we only use your email addy to send the posting bonus. Hope that helps!
