HELLO EVERYONE, LouCee here, our dear Beth is taking a break (
see thread) and this month I am hosting the scraplift challenge!
WooHoo! my first ever go at hosting a challenge, Beth's shoes are too big to fill, she ran this challenge perfectly, I always loved the scraplifts she chose, so treat me gently lol!
What IS a 'scraplift' you might ask? Well... a scraplift is where you copy design ideas from another layout - and use that inspiration to create a similar new page of your own.
And in case you're new to scrapbooking.... YES, it's OK to scraplift. In fact, most scrappers are flattered if their layouts are 'lifted.' Part of the FUN in scrapbooking is getting ideas from other people. We all help get each other's 'creative juices' flowing!!!
But please remember to give credit to the original artist and state that your page is a scraplift of theirs.
ready to play along!

Okay, I have chosen Chaos Lounge's layout
'spring thy name is colour' for this months scraplift. I have always admired her clustering! what I like about this layout is how she has used a photograph as the background paper, look how she has just used one third, this proportion always works well in art and photography! I love the hanging frame, the way it is loosely hanging over the branch, and look where she placed the word art! Although you can't see all the writing, it doesn't really matter as you know what it is basically saying. The whole page is fresh and clean and the clustering is well balanced on both sides of the frame.
So what
YOU get to do now is take
HER layout and use the ideas that you like to create a page of
YOUR OWN in a similar way.
For playing along with us, I have put together this posting bonus for you:

THEN I will send you a PM (private message here at DSO) with a link to download your posting bonus!
Happy scrapping!
