Thank you to everyone who participated in last months challenge, I enjoyed seeing everyone's take on last months chosen layout... AWESOME work Ladies!
What
IS a 'scraplift' you might ask? Well... a scraplift is where you copy design ideas from another layout - and use that inspiration to create a similar new page of your own.
And in case you're new to scrapbooking....
YES, it's
OK to scraplift. In fact, most scrappers are flattered if their layouts are 'lifted.' Part of the
FUN in scrapbooking is getting ideas from other people. We all help get each other's 'creative juices' flowing!!!
But please remember to give credit to the original artist and state that your page is a scraplift of theirs.
ready to play along!
This layout has been created by Hutchie and is
called all you need is love
What I adore about this layout is the subtlety, the quality in the blending and it’s simplicity. Look how the photograph and the blended picture mirror each other, also notice that they both face inwards so therefore keeping your eye from wandering away from the picture. The circular frame compliments the little girls face. The journaling is coloured to match a few of the buttons which marries it to the corner cluster.
Feel free to leave hutchie a comment on her beautiful page!
So what
YOU get to do now is take
HER layout and use the ideas that you like to create a page of
YOUR OWN in a similar way.
Remember to post your layout here and then come back and here with a link so we can all admire your creation!
For playing along with us, I have put together this posting bonus for you:
